On Friday morning, the ship set sail down the black river from Terrace. We were headed in a southeasterly direction toward Cold Snap festival in the Prince George. Friday night, we had the privilege of catching Shred Kelly and Current Swell. Chazz Amos also played earlier in the night, but Happy Adventure isn't the fastest ship, so we didn't make it in time to catch him. On Saturday it was our turn to rock out with gaelic singer Andrew McFayden and Troy MacGillivray's traditional Cape Breton fiddlin'. Troy MacGillivary and Andrea Beaton did a step dancing workshop and The Ladies From Hell showed the folks how to do some highland dancing Saturday afternoon. Saturday night, the dancers came out en masse to enjoy the show dubbed "Hold on to Your Kilts". McFayden opened the night with a great display of traditional gaelic singing. We followed with a bombardment of our favorite songs. We were finished our set by about 9:30 and got to dance and enjoy the fiddling and picking of Troy and his friends. They were amazing musicians and got everyone up and dancin' jigs. They got us up on stage at the end of the night to play a few encore songs with them. We would like to thank everyone at Coldsnap and everyone who came out to support us in Prince George.
