It’s been a week since Saint Patrick’s Day and I think we are all still recovering. Everything went great, a big thanks to all the bartenders, security, Gerry for keeping the sound going and all volunteers who helped organize and run the event! Also thanks to everyone who came out to party with us! Out of all the shows we’ve played that was defiantly the craziest audience yet, you guys made for one hell of a night. A sweaty, drunk, loud dance-fest! This week we were given to opportunity to record some acoustic sets and interviews with Lisa from CFNR witch aired on Saturday and Sunday! We will be posting links to those in the media section of the site in the next few days along with some one off recordings of a few originals she did for us, so check it out and keep checking the site for more pictures and stories from Saint Patrick’s Day that we will be posting this week! Finally just got to say how excited we are for JACK-STOCK this weekend! We will be spending the week polishing up our set. Grab your dance shoes and head out to party with the Soul Professors, Play Back, and King Crow and the Ladies from Hell! We are stoked to play a show with both these bands, and for such a great cause! See ye their folks!
Good morning to all! It sure is a beautiful day outside for celebrating! Tonight is the night we've all been waiting for. If you guys are half as stolked for this show as we are it's bound to be the best yet! We powered through a day of prep and set up yesterday, and thanks to everyone helping out with the show - everything is more or less ready to rock. The venue looks great, the beer is in the fridges and the sound cables are run. Last night right before we killed the lights and locked up, we just sat back in chairs with cold beers, surveying the stage in anticipation! Then of course we headed up to catch the Playback show and have a couple more! So we will see you all tonight! Late Night on Air starts at 8 p.m. so don't miss it!
My friends are the best friends - Loyal, willing and able. Now let’s get to drinking! All glasses off the table! CHEERS!
Well folks, the good news is 300 people have tickets for our St. Paddy's Day show on Saturday - the bad news is that there are zero, none, nada, absolutely no tickets left. Thanks to everyone who picked 'em up early - it's going to be a ridiculously good time. If you missed out on this one, try to track down tickets for Jackstock March 31 - we'll be playing with a bunch of other local bands in an effort to raise some money for wee little Jack Armstrong's family to help cover his medical costs. Little buddy has leukemia - come out and support his family! Check out our events section for details about where you can get tickets or check out the event page on facebook - http://www.facebook.com/events/118999331558378/
HELLO, just a little update on the goings on of the band. We are stoked on our Saint Patrick’s day show coming up next weekend! James form ruins tells me he still has a few tickets left so if you don’t want to miss out ye better head down their and get’em while you can! The last few weeks have been a trip of practice rehearsal and preparations for what is going to be a hell of a party. We are training for the night by working through massive sets of music while consuming large quantity’s of beer, to make sure we are ready for the chaos to ensue. Somewhere we found time to put hours in at James Powell’s studio working on new tracks, and you can find pictures in the photo gallery. Also coming up is Jack-stock, which is going to be an amazing event for an even more important cause, check out the event section for more info. Anyways I have to get ready for practice tonight, see ye later, cheers.
