So, it's been a crazy summer. Our June tour took us to 11 different cities in BC in just two weeks and we felt the love from Tofino to Vancouver to Lillooet and a gazillion stops in between. The band bus broke down as we were hauling all of us and our gear over the Coquihalla, so we left her there and carried on in a combination of rental vehicles for the rest of the tour. Huge thanks to all the venues that hosted us and the amazing turnouts for every show. Vancouver and Victoria blew us away and our little stops in Cumberland and Wells made us feel like we were playing a home away from home.
We headlined at the Kispiox Valley Music Festival at the end of July and holy jumping jesus, was it ever a good time. Probably our favourite show of the year. There was crowd surfing, sweaty masses of midnight dancers and someone even danced her shirt right off! Kudos to Sam and Mark for keeping their focus on the music despite the front row nudity. This festival is such a gem, if you've never been, you really are missing out.
So after playing A LOT of gigs already this summer, we're starting to gear down a bit. Our trusty bagpiper, Garrett, is getting married next weekend, so we'll be entertaining his friends and family and celebrating his big day with soon-to-be wife, Morgan. We're all stoked for them - first band wedding! And we have some other friends getting hitched at the end of the month. Then, friends, we rest.

We won't rest for too long though - September 27 we're taking over the Thornhill Community Centre and welcoming our friends in The Noah Edwards Band, who will be opening for us. Tickets will go on sale after the September long weekend.
